Marmon 559 Fan Trip

After the Christmas season was over, we were able to take Marmon-Herrington 559 on a fan trip around town. We took ETI-Skoda 9835 and BBC 110 along for the ride. Initially, Marmon 559 was going to be out all day, but there was an issue so we got it out near dusk. That worked since 559 has the Christmas lights and green underglow. It was a great time, and we were able to take some photos of the trolleys at various locations around Dayton. You can see the photos below.

waiting for Marmon 559. We decided to play with the destination sign.

While we waited, I had the opportunity to take photos of some NexGens.

Since Marmon 559 was acting up, we got to take out BBC 110 for the morning.

It's not a Dayton Trolleys fan trip without some bridge shots.

Another good city skyline shot.

Laying over at Eastown Hub.

Side by side once again.

Don't have to disconnect 110 from wire since the NexGens can get around easily.

More revenue NexGen shots.

These two never ran together on the road back in the day, but they look good together.

First time a Marmon has been in one of the hubs.

This just looks normal.

559 looks amazing at night. Seriously, the trolley shop guys did a great job getting 559 running and looking amazing.
